Putting the Pieces Together

Hectic days of seemingly inexplicable events. But there are people out there putting the pieces and people together in this political clusters*ck. Picked up this extended thread over at Eric Garland's twitter feed. If Louise Neufy is correct, the warnings that Hillary Clinton tried to give us in 2016 were because . . . she absolutely knew what was going on and was willing to take a knee for the country.

Think about that.

Just another reminder: Vote for America in November. Vote for our principles and ideals, even though we don't always reach them. Vote for our better angels.

... to see this all happening-- knowing all along this would probably happen, knowing what a criminal travesty this was and how they were cheated... the country was cheated.

I would literally need therapy. Heck, I could use it now. I need someone other than the cat to listen to my misery and anger.

to the basic character and strength of faith that both Hillary Clinton and President Obama have always had, the ability to continue standing despite the headwinds and their belief in this country, its principles, values and better angels.

That's not to paint them as saints because there are no saints in this world. But both individuals have proven themselves dedicated public servants and absolutely loyal to the United States of America.

In today's world that stands in sharp relief and should inspire us, IMHO., to put our heads down and forge ahead, making good on their efforts as well as all the sacrifices of previous generations that were made for this country.

I've said it before: We stand on the shoulders of giants.

This is our moment to pay it forward.
