Trump's Walk-Back of his Helsinki Remarks Is Even WORSE. Because It Proves That He BELIEVES

It proves that he BELIEVES that Russia meddled in the election...BUT HE'S JUST TOO AFRAID TO SAY SO TO PUTIN'S FACE!

In front of the American press corps, which he holds in contempt, he says Russia meddled. But with Putin standing next to him, HE'S TOO SCARED to say so, and he'll just parrot whatever Putin told him.

...because he's 'VERY STRONG and POWERFUL'....

Typical authoritarian personality. Kicks down and kisses up. Bullies the other beta male gorillas, but sucks up the the alpha male gorilla. And obviously Trump has identified Putin as the alpha male gorilla that he'll follow. Very scary.

It was a lie that only a person who has gotten away with lying his whole life would think that people would believe.

Trump has made his Russia problem even worse. First, he betrayed his country, and then he told the most idiotic lie possible to cover his tracks.
