Republicans join Trump in deceiving the American people.
They join Trump in saying that he "clarified" his press conference with Putin with a simple contraction. He meant to say "wouldn't" instead of "would". Republicans are working overtime to help him sell his "clarification".
But, this morning, all his other comments still stand. America is a "foolish" and stupid country. Putin is very, very strong and says that he did not meddle in our elections. All the false equivalencies are still out there. This morning, he is still a traitor.
Republicans are the majority Party. They need to lead or get the hell out of the way. Their complicity with Trump and Putin is not the direction our nation should go. Perhaps with a simple contraction, we could change their Party name to Republican'ts.
