What happened. Putin demanded the meeting and that it be in private. The only reason everyone was to be excluded was so that what was discussed wouldn't get back to the American people. There is no other reason for a private meeting. I imagine that as soon as the door closed, at the same time, both looked at each other and said "THEY KNOW EVERYTHING!!". Putin probably reminded Trump of what he has, told Trump to stop that investigation if he knows whats good for him and told Trump they would do all they could to defeat Democrat candidates in the fall.
