How do we know Hillary didn't win and little Putin didn't steal the election from her by rigging the numbers? So, Russia went into our easily hack-able voting systems just to allow a fair and legal vote result. Do cheaters really do that?

But if the Democratic party is on their toes and gets lawyers and support out to the voters themselves then we can overwhelmed the cheat machine just like we did when we elected Obama. Massive voter turnout will screw up their cheating.

The controversy has always been the electoral college votes - whichever candidate wins the majority of each state gets ALL the electoral college votes of that state. In many key states she didn't win because a few rural counties fell one way or the other. Those few counties were enough to swing an entire state to Trump and it happened several times. The Russians may not have been the ones who "hacked" this, but SOMEBODY did!

We've had many discussions about it in the last year and a half. In many of the counties and states where Clinton did win, she won by a lot. For the squeakers, it wasn't enough. If it had happened in only one or two states many we would have said oh well, it was bad luck. But in state after state, enough of the low-vote count rural counties went to Trump by a razor -thin majority and it looked very fishy. The Republicans stole the election and got away with it because we weren't able to prove they stole it. The electronic voting machines had a lot to do with it, and also denying people their vote (voter suppression) was another big factor.

This year we're a little smarter and we're going to beat them, even though we can't stop them from cheating. We just have to overwhelm the GOP, like you say.

I'm in Pennsylvania where the Democrats got burned badly in 2016. We've (hopefully) beaten the curse of gerrymandering here, maybe you read about it on DU. But we still have many challenges here too.

Just remember that the Repukes will always lose on straight numbers alone. That's why they have to cheat to win. They are cheating and getting away with it until we stand up and demand that they stop.
