He is offering him everything except the kitchen sink. "Yeah, we'll send you all those people involved with passing the Magnitsky Act. Yeah, why should we defend Montenegro? President Putin said he did not meddle in our elections and he makes a very strong case...etc". Putin is playing him along for a bigger prize. He wants to see America defeated and destroyed. Nothing less.
Once we get the transcript of what was discussed between Trump and Putin in private at Helsinki, perhaps we will get a clearer picture of just what Putin is holding over Trump's head and why Trump is so eager to appease him? From all appearances, Putin has Trump by the short hairs.

President Putin also is helping Israel. And we both spoke with Bibi Netanyahu, and they would like to do certain things with respect to Syria, having to do with the safety of Israel. So in that respect, we absolutely would like to work in order to help Israel. And Israel would be working with us. So both countries would work jointly.

(14,167 posts)The Butina mess... did you know that a Secret Service agent died while that clown was in Scotland?
The man was part of the presidential protection team when he fell ill during Mr Trump's stay at the Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire on Sunday.
US officials said he died in hospital surrounded by his family on Tuesday.
The Secret Service thanked medical personnel and police in Scotland as well as White House medics for the "exceptional care" he received.
In a statement, it described the agent as a "dedicated professional of the highest order" who had served in the US Secret Service for 19 years.

After 19 years of service? And apparently Trump and Putin came to some "agreements" in their meeting, according to Russian state media. What did Trump agree to?
