The technician who came to upgrade our satellite television this morning volunteered that he was very upset about Trumps performance in Helsinki and glad that he was no longer in uniform. Were in a blue state so having someone share a enlightened opinion is not unexpected. After further conversation, he let on that he had bought into Trumps fear of immigrants and had voted for him. It looks like Trump has finally crossed a line that that will cost him much of his base.

(844 posts)You did say blue state.
Here in Nebraska ( very red ) I havent heard any such flips from people. I think in Blue areas the message and condemnation penetrates better and the Trump voters in the minority get overwhelmed by others rightfully negative response.
So far from local trumpies I see on FB its a lot of the same stupid. Todays favorite was the meme going around that showed Obama talking to Putin and the caption Is This Treason?

See that's just stupid. Are they all so brain damaged from their Husker football worship they don't understand that it's the content of what is said, or promised in a secret meeting, that might rise to the level of treason? It's not the talking by itself...it's what is said.
Dumb cornfuskers.
