He'll do anything, he will say anything, he will sell anyone else down the river to promote his interests. Nothing, no matter how appalling, that Trump does should surprise anyone. We just need to figure out what it is that he wants or needs. Remember, this is a guy who killed an entire football league to try to get an NFL franchise. He laundered Russian money to save his real estate empire. He sold his soul (and our interests) to the Russians to get elected president. The fact that whatever deal he made to get to the oval office is turning sour (at our expense) was an entirely predictable outcome. Trump Casinos, Trump Airlines, Trump Steaks, Trump University, Trump Vodka, Trump Beer, Trump Mortgage, Trump Magazine, Trump The Game ...notice a pattern....all failures. Now Trump the President heading down the same sewer. His usual tricks- bankruptcy, bailouts, shady money-aren't available to save him. So he will do anything to save himself. He is the most dangerous type of person there is. Someone too stupid to know how stupid he really is and who believes himself to be a genius. Someone without morals or an ethical compass. Someone who's greatest talent is screwing other people. God help us because he will sell us down the river to get himself out of this mess he's created.

(42,641 posts)He is a terrible businessman who is convinced that he is a genius at business. But because he is such a terrible businessman, his constant need for money makes him easy to manipulate by those, like Putin, with money.

(2,419 posts)of his failures. Trump Water, Trump Internet, Trump Travel. They all crashed and burned as well. Forget his business incompetence, his total lack of morals is the most dangerous. You are quite right, he will do anything, say anything, screw anyone to save himself. Here in New Jersey, we've seen 40 years of this. None of this is a surprise. As for tanking his casinos, just look at how he bucked the trend in the industry. The rebel that he is. That being said, I believe his casinos weren't run as a business that was intended for success. It was just another money laundering scheme, just like his real estate ventures.
