3. My mother was kicked out of a church she had been going to for years because she did not

give them enough money. She got a letter saying she was no longer welcome at the church ... after 40 years.
Churches want money, that is all many are interested in, not all, but enough. Some do have a lot of expenses, my mother's did not.
