The point we're at now

I remember Nixon's Watergate era. The press kept publishing more and more allegations. The Republicans kept denying them. Nixon called it a witch hunt. Then John Dean started talking. This is different than Watergate, but there are similarities. Right now it feels that in the Trump collusion/obstruction/treason matter, we're at the point that Nixon was at when Mr. Dean started talking. There was no turning back for Nixon after that. It was all downhill for President Nixon. I think we're at that point with President Trump. There will still be ups and downs for our side, but, ultimately, we've got this.

Former presidential counsel John W. Dean III has told Senate investigators and federal prosecutors that the discussed aspects of the Watergate cover-up with President Nixon or in Mr. Nixon's presence on at least 35 occasions between January and April of this year, according to reliable sources.

Something about him at that summit... He's not cool with this and I think he will talk if he knows something.

...at least a little more principled than today's bunch.

Anyway, we basically have a foreign agent as POTUS. It's tough to argue against bringing articles of impeachment. We don't have the votes and I suppose it could backfire, but isn't it the right thing to do?
