Putin now directly references agreements reached in his private mtg with Trump. The WH has not given any specific information about what was discussed.

What are these secret agreements Trump made with Putin?
Unfortunate that all, if any, details will likely come from Moscow with Putin in firm control of the propaganda from the two-hour collusion summit.

(9,999 posts)Putin will need to produce his tapes, notes, and/or interpreter transcripts of the meeting so Trump can refresh his own memory and then figure out how to deny any incriminating stuff. Too bad he already used the double negative excuse, but I am sure someone can come up with some lost in translation explanations.

All Putin has to do is claim something was said or agreed to. Nothing will be proven or disproved until there's testimony from the interpreter.

And yes, tRump and Faux News will frame it this way, that is just a fair swap to get along with Russia, the Repukes in congress will agree, and Repubs in general will support this activity.

How does a U.S. president deliver an American citizen who han't been charged with anything to our Russian adversary? How does he manage that tyranny?
