Start thinking strategically..not politically.

Trump is a distraction.Yes a menacing one but a distraction none the less. He is like an army's band of raiders causing destruction and mayhem only to draw attention while the main army out maneuvers the opponent.
It is the army that has to be destroyed and the way to do that is through its supply line and their supply line is stretched awfully thin right now.
So...how do you do it?
There are two forms of sustaining an opposing force. One is sustenance for the leadership ( financing and materials) and the other is sustenance for the troops (food and other logistical supplies). In our current situation the republican party is providing sustenance for the leadership. That would be trump, his cabinet and all the other assholes that are believers in the administration. They are providing the cover that allows him to operate and they are doing it without having to pay any real cost. He draws the attention away from the real threat as they continue working their agenda just as a raiding party draws the attention of Generals because of the atrocities that the raiders are committing. What needs to be done is our focus must be on attacking the republican party itself. Only when it is attacked directly and damaged will we see any change. That needs to be done by the true patriotic citizens, the media and all the sub groups that have specific problems that they want to address. Every march needs to be a march against the republican party. Every op-ed has to be against the republican party. Every lawsuit has to be against the republican party. Every piece of resistance has to be against the republican party. The media would have to focus on all these voices as resistance to the republican party itself and that would help control the message. The republicans would be forced to publicly defend themselves rather than work in the shadows and they wouldn't be able to do it.
The other form of sustenance is to the troops and who would that be? Fox News provides sustenance for the troops and somehow it needs to be attacked directly. Whether that can be done through the courts I don't know but certainly they can be attacked through op-ed's and advertiser boycotts. After all it is the advertisers that provide sustenance to them. With a focused effort it can be accomplished.
If the nation is to survive we need to think strategically.

All of us have to think it out our own way. Each of us can play a part. We will win and save America AGAIN.
Don't under estimate the 5.00 donation to your candidates. It adds up. We aren't beaten on the money issue. See Ocasio or whatever her name is. (no offense).
****GET SIGNS IN OUR LAWNS. The signage is key. Got to be the FIRST on the block to do it, and others feel safe to fall in line. No more trump signs everywhere and no Hillary signs. That alone screwed us in this area. If Hillary was at fault in anything, it was in not getting signs out EN MASSE...early. Keep your chin up Richard.

in anything other than name. I am convinced that they have been completely taken over by the Tea Party and it is their agenda that is being advanced.
The Tea party had been all about marches, media publicity and creating havoc and I think they got smart and realized that they were not going anywhere so they got smart and decided a stealth approach was the best bet. I don't believe it was by accident that they have generally gone media quiet except when it can be used to put pressure on politicians that are not towing the line.
I even see it locally in our smallish town. The guy that used to run the local tea party is now the chairman of the local republican committee and the republicans have won most of the spots after the last election. It is a tea party agenda that they are pursuing.

who is behind it and who funds it. I have never heard of it talked about in the media.
Wikipedia:
"The State Policy Network (SPN) is an American nonprofit organization that functions primarily as an umbrella organization for a consortium of conservative and libertarian think tanks that focus on state-level policy.[3][4][5] The organization serves as a public policy clearinghouse and advises its member think tanks on fundraising, running a nonprofit, and communicating ideas.[6] Founded in 1992, it is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, with member groups located in all fifty states. "

Some of the groups under their umbrella:
"According to Politico, SPN's associate members include a "who’s who of conservative organizations", including the Cato Institute, Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity Foundation, FreedomWorks, Americans for Tax Reform, and American Legislative Exchange Council.[30] "
