or any other American citizen to Russia?
The Russians certainly won't extradite Russian citizens indicted by a US grand jury. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't have an extradition treaty with the Russian Federation. Which is why Snowden continues to live there, untouched by US prosecutors.
So on what basis would Trump be able to "turn over" any American citizen, or anyone else for that matter, to the Russians?
That the Trump people are even considering this shows how little regard they have for the actual rule of law.

If it were me facing such a scenario I'd A) hire a good attorney and B) send the Trump administration a big "shove it up your ass" to any suggestion that I have to meet with anyone for any reason outside of a duly processed criminal or civil action.
Fourteenth Amendment rights, and all that.
