I think one of the reasons that the news on this has been a bit hesitant today is that the other news agencies are independently working to source the story.
Craig Melvin is interviewing Clint Watts right now and they are using a caveat in reporting it that NBC is working on sourcing.
I think they all believe it to be true but need to verify.

The source for this has to be one of maybe 20 to 40 people. Whoever leaked it broke the law to do so. All of those people will be watched and investigated. Confirming it would almost certainly be discovered. This patriot is risking a very long jail sentence.
