Traditionally, flying the national flag inverted vertically is a sign of distress, most often that of operating under duress. Letting fly the sheet of a flag hoist, that is to… fly by the top corner (canton) only, is the traditional signal of the approach of an enemy fleet.

What does it mean when the flag is flown upside down?www.answers.com/Q/What_does_it_mean_when_the_flag_is_flown_upside_down

I had forgotten that it was the PM of Montenegro who was shoved aside by the Orange One. I don't think he's smart enough to have known who that was - lordy, you certainly can't teach him anything and he wouldn't bother to learn anybody's name at a meeting. But the fact that he essentially gave Putin the go-ahead on that tiny country is pretty sickening.

Well, I know one in French too.

And could he please just button his suit coat? He's a slob on top of everything else.

No class.

I try to restrain my swearing and usually spell it out boldly. I know a few German ones as well...my grandfather taught them to me when I was young, leftieNanner.
