Until we know what happened at that two hour meeting in Helsinki, @realDonaldTrump should have no more one-on-one interactions with Putin. In the United States, in Russia, or anywhere else.

...let's see what can be done by speaking out.

The notion that republicans can't be moved to act against this president remains should be challenged, again and again.

there isn't much more that he can realistically do. Our Dem reps are trying really hard and I give them credit.

putin will be sitting and chatting in the oval office in a few weeks with his cronies pumping trump with propaganda and plan of action.
Honestly, our entire system has been failing us, constitution, congress, wh, courts, intelligence (none of it should even be happening in the first place), media, inadequate cybersecurity, etc. Btw, who is in charge of Equifax breach, russia?

...but the vote was unanimous.

Every time we can get the republican majority closer to confronting the excesses and abuses of this administration the better the prospects they'll act against him at the end of the SC investigation.

Politics isn't a static enterprise. Standing up to Trump in a unified way, even if it's just a resolution, a sense of the Senate, is at least a step toward providing a check on his behavior in office.

It's a baby step, but it may be significant. Remember, we vote in the fall.

President is not required to have clearance. Trump would have never gained clearance - it’s not easy to get. unless IC disobeys him and stop providing all of the info to him

Democrats need to be very blunt in saying the POTUS may be a national security threat.
