If Watergate occurred now, would Nixon have resigned?

I doubt it for two reasons.
1. Fux Ruse Propaganda Network
2. The GOP in 1973 was not as corrupt and compromised

Nixon would have served out his term if he were president now, and his crimes were not nearly as serious.
Now what the Hell do we do?

2. For all his many faults, Nixon still had a conscience & lingering respect for the consitution

that said, the intensity of "cover" provided by RW media might just convince him otherwise and today's R's no longer have the decency to force the issue, even when the "gig is up"
