The Desires of a Strongman
A couple of days ago, Comrade Trump was comparing himself with Vladimir Putin, and how they run their countries. Paraphrasing, he said something to the effect that Putin ran his country the way he needs to and that he (Trump) runs his country the way he needs to. He was comparing himself to a dictator and a strongman.
He identifies with Vladimir Putin more than he identifies with any type of "democratic" leader. He does not see himself working for the people. He sees himself working for his own ego and for his own purposes, not the purposes of the country or its people.
Trump admires Putin. He wants to be like Putin. He doesn't like the obstacles that are put up in front of him by our legislature or our institutions. That is one of the reasons why he wanted to talk to Putin behind closed doors. They were both comfortable with that situation.
Also, that is why he never felt inclined to tell his DNI Coats about anything having to do with Russia or anything else. The DNI is in his position to support his Leader, not to question him.
We have a wannabe dictator in our White House. It should be obvious to everyone by now. He wants to join hands with Putin and use our country like a chess piece in a big game of who is the best "strongman" in the world?
