Why has Twitter given a notorious Russian internet troll/propogandist her own verified account?

Granted, she doesn't look like what you would expect from your average internet troll, but that's her main game.

This is Maria Katasonova, a young, glamorous Russian ultra-nationalist and close associate to chief Kremlin propagandist Konstantin Rykov:

Here she is meeting Marine La Pen, who it is alleged Rykov paid off in order to get La Pen's endorsement of the Crimean annexation:



Here she is claiming "For the death of enemies, Merry Christmas.....and if we are losing, we will destroy the whole world." God she's a sweetheart.

And somehow, for some reason, if you find her on Twitter, she's worthy of her own verified, blue checkmarked account.
