So, yes, I wish they were tomorrow, too.

But they're not, so we have to plan accordingly. Personally, I wish we had million man armed uniformed brigade of election overseer police ready to spring into action and immediately arrest any official trying to deny a citizen their voting rights. It is no secret--to either side--that there is only one party out there that needs to suppress voter rights in order to win elections, and it ain't us.

This is dangerous thinking..."Hilary is inevitable"-level dangerous. Complacency in the Democratic Party in mid-term elections is a large part of the reason we are where we are right now.

Trump's fan base is beyond reach and reason. They are beneath contempt and should be made to feel uncomfortable in the company of ANYONE not wearing their fan-club hats or sporting a full set of teeth....and YET, we can not afford to be complacent. The Russians WILL interfere again on Trump's behalf and to his benefit (he after all received a glowing mid-term review from his boss on Monday). The GOP cowards in congress will do NOTHING about him and will instead continue their quest to make every non-white male a suspicious voter and challenge their rights to do so at all.

Trump is getting away with things that I never believed a President could do or say and he is skating by from one to the next as if nothing every happened at all.

He praises child abuse, rape, sexual molestation, murder, dictatorship and at the same time condemns free press, alliances that keep the peace, trade deals that may need improvement but are far better than protectionist tariffs and trade wars. And STILL no movement from his "base" to say "whoa...slow down there bub, we are not going over EVERY cliff with you..."

If we get even a small percentage of the Democratic voting base believing that its in the bag and that they can be lazy and irresponsible and sit this one out again in November, then we WILL LOSE (or have made it easier to steal).
