This is a thank you to reporters who are in the breach and standing for the truth and the American
people.
The trolling, flaming and outright threatening that the main stream media and it’s ancillary counterparts on the interwebs contend with is startling and disturbing. Nonetheless they stand in and despite it all do their job.
The courage it takes to daily withstand the, false and baseless, allegations of being fake, an enemy of the people and an enemy of the state by the president is remarkable. Reporters are killed every year doing the often times thankless job of reporting the facts.
The presidents remarks in this regard are at least inflammatory and at their worst life threatening. Marginalized and fringe elements in our society will see the presidents comments as a license, if not an order, to attack media people or institutions.
It takes real courage and dedication to something greater than yourself to walk into the face of this contemporary storm. So, thank you, to those who are in that breach doing for us what we are not prepared to do ourselves.
