5. It's not that safe a district. He beat his opponent, Angie Craig, by less than 2%.

The district is mostly comprised of suburbs south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, which are reliably Dem cities. The suburbs have leaned R since 2001 but its previous rep, who won the four elections before that, was DFL. Angie Craig has a very good chance of taking it back.

Jason Lewis was a bush-league version of Rush Limbaugh when he had his radio show. He's a total pig, always has been. I think this district will be flipped, especially after all this came out.

he hasn't said such overtly awful stuff but he is still an arrogant prick. I'm not in his district (I'm next door in CD 5, currently Keith Ellison's district and probably soon to be Ilhan Omar's district when Keith gets elected state AG), but I'll kick in a few bucks for Angie Craig's campaign just because Lewis is so disgusting and I want to see him crushed and abased.

who is loathsome in his own, very different way - he's a weasel who hasn't had a town hall meeting with his constituents in 7 years. Dean Phillips is running against him. This district is also flippable.
