The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-five percent (55%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 31% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. (see trends).

These people are economically insecure. This country has lost its status in the world community amongst friend and foe. They support him no matter what he says or does. It IS like religion with the blind faith and no thinking.

3. I think those are expressions of ignorance, mostly. The economic insecurity is key. That pattern has

repeated itself time and again, all over the world. In times of economic uncertainty, or where people are poorer compared to everyone else, evil fuckers use people's economic insecurity to spread fear/hate about <insert minority>, mostly to gain power.

4. Hard to believe, but...

There are people who never watch news. I talked to someone yesterday who had no idea that -45 had a summit with Putin.

There are some people who picked a side, and they'll stick with it no matter what, simply because they're ignorant of the facts because they don't pay attention.

And most of the a 31 percent are MAGATs.

5. They are uninformed

I work with drumph supporters who are generally nice folks. They are the type who basically just work their jobs, live their lives and never watch the news or keep up with current events. The local small town newspaper doesn't deal with politics or national/world news so they would have to be inclined to search out information on the treachery of drumph and the republican party. As far as they are concerned, things are just great now because babies are being saved and Jesus is going to become the center of everyone's life.

These are people who attend an odd denomination church that promotes having huge families, one of my coworkers had 15 kids, and all of those kids are havings kids galore. It's the Quiverfull thing. A lot of these households don't even have a television set and are pretty much totally uninformed. When I bring up some of the atrocities that are being committed, they think I am the one living in an alternate reality. These people will never vote Democratic because as far as they are concerned Democrats are not the party of God, and it is something that will never change.
