As a member of "the media" I don't complain to avoid the appearance of sounding self-serving. But, man, if any group has been targeted for demonization it's "the media". We have been the punching bags for Trump, and all of his stupid devotees get their punches in, too.

So in this moment of self-pity might I remind propagandists that revenge is a dish best served cold. Look over your shoulders, media-bashers, your time is coming.

The media has been the punching bag for Nixon,Ronnie, Bush 1 and 2 and now trump. You'd think if the media had ANY scruples they'd have tried to change or at least be bi-partisan. But the "punching bag" spent and spends more time on Birthers, Caribou Barbie, Emails, Benghaaaazi, providing much more air time to republicans than Democrats, just to name a few, and shilling for corporate and republican talking points.

While maybe not all journalists are complicit stooges, those who aren't are 1 percenters of the stooges ...and hopefully they continue to do the job they were supposedly trained for. Of course, to keep their positions they have to kowtow to the "man" which they use as an excuse because...money!

Funny how Murrow and Cronkite and Pigeon never did that. Oh, that's right. They weren't punching bags.

My view.
