The FBI had a search warrant (and, as the Washington Post pointed out, the bar to get that warrant would have been set quite high). But Trump or whoever wrote that tweet knows that bashing "government" goes over better than calling out the FBI.

What the hell does the time of day have to do with anything? Nothing.

Most states, including New York, don't forbid recording of phone conversations.

"...favorite President" is even more laughable than "did nothing wrong."

Still, none of these points would make one bit of difference to Trump's base or Republicans in Congress. Is it November yet?
