FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Mark Omsack for Congress MO-02
Mark Osmack was born and raised in Missouris 2nd Congressional District in St. Louis County. Mark attended public schools and graduated from Lindbergh High School before attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. During college, Mark worked at Busch Stadium as an usher for five years and at local grocery stores as a member of UFCW Local 655.
Mark is a 4th generation St. Louisan. His father is a nurse practitioner who served in the Army Reserve, and his mother is a chaplain who ministers throughout the St. Louis region. A family committed to service, both of his brothers joined the US Marine Corps, and his sister is a nurse in St. Louis. Marks family history of duty and service led him to join the US Army after earning his degree at Mizzou. As an artillery officer and platoon leader, Mark served two combat tours in Afghanistan where he was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He is currently serving in the Army Reserve as a Civil Affairs company commander in Missouri.
Utilizing the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Mark earned a Masters of Public Administration from George Washington University while working on national defense and veterans affairs issues in Washington, DC. Today, Mark works to help agencies and departments of the federal government operate more efficiently as a consultant in the St. Louis office of Deloitte Consulting, LLP.
Marks call to public service stems from the strong work-ethic instilled due to his deep ties to St. Louis, his leadership as a soldier and commissioned officer in the US Army, and his dedication to provide a voice to Americans of all walks of life. Through listening and open dialogue, Mark is driven to create bipartisan solutions that protect and improve the lives of all Missourians. Drawing upon the lessons learned from a life of leadership and service, Mark will represent the people of the 2nd Congressional District with courage, dignity, and trust.
