It references the (possible) strategy that they (Trump) released the news of it's existence as a way to discredit the FBI/Justice Dept. for a "leak." I absolutely agree that this wouldn't sway any tRumper, but in the casual-observer group, it could raise doubt of the probe's legitimacy. It wouldn't surprise me that they're looking for tiny bits of support that they can tug their way. Desperation for something that isn't horrible news.

And the Rs managed to gain control of the White House, the Senate and the Congress (and with all of that, appointments to the Judiciary branch as well) without achieving a majority of the vote. And it's not the first time that Rs have managed that feat in both the House and Senate. We've got some daunting structural disadvantages that allow this to happen with uncontrolled gerrymandering and the antiquated system that is the Electoral College. Our "majority" doesn't mean crap if we don't actually cast our ballots, like more than 46% of the eligible electorate failed to do in 2016.

that's 50 years to a D but, we're closing in. SO sick of all of this. What are the news channels going to do wo dt? Going to have to get outside more often to cover the American Beat.
