If the environment isn't in good shape, there is no good habitat for birds or animals.

Just like if the waters are not clean of pollution, the fish die. And fishing ceases to to a source of food or a sport.

My ex and his dad were both hunters. They were very much of the school that you ate what you killed. If you couldn't eat it all (eg, deer in Utah), you gave what you couldn't eat to those who needed the food.

Where sport hunters (who eat what they kill) live together with those who hunt for food, the importance of a healthy environment is glaringly obvious.
