What percentage of Cable News has been about Don the Con

this month?
The 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics (started by Eunice Kennedy-Shriver) got almost no coverage. Several weather disasters received no coverage. Many positive events received no coverage.
This racist scumbag, this vile authoritarian cretin is being given way too much coverage.

Cable News has created this scripted reality programming, complicit from the start with this unqualified, incompetent buffoon of a fake TV celebrity who has never stopped the self-promotion all hucksters strive for.

This dog is so tired of being wagged.

I consider cutting the cord everyday now.

Just get my news from echo chambers and Russian bots.

And robbing that bank over and over again, then you would understand why the bank was overly focused on the criminal.

It's a symptom not a cause.

Even more focused on the criminal.

Allowing the bank robber to run rough shod over the bank with threats and lies is a whole new problem.

He doesn't seem to care if people think he's an authoritarian Putin Puppet kidnapper racist... just so long as everyone's talking about him and all the air is sucked out of the room.

that maddening. Every Trumpy lie is treated as a true statement until someone happens to point to the fact that he’s lying. The fact that he lies with every tweet is ignored because a myth exists that a president ALWAYS makes news with statements. That myth is perpetuated daily be the news media.

What’s needed is the qualifier before every lying tweet: “The president tweeted another lie today when he wrote...” The same kind of qualifier should be used for his rallies and news conferences. News organizations are gutless sources of Trumpy’s fake news, but their acquiescence makes them a lot of money.

This is why I had always missed the original CNN "Headline News", although I just tuned into the current HLN and they appear to actually be doing regular national news (although I think they go long-form stuff in the evenings).... So you may want to try HLN.

I literally just checked into it after seeing your thread and after googling it and going to their site - https://www.cnn.com/specials/videos/hln I gave it a shot and was surprised. They were talking about the Missouri Duck Boat disaster (just sad) and had interviewed one of the survivors (the one who lost 9 members of her family).

To them, that's all the news there is.

But on the regular channels like NBC News, CBS News, ABC they are covering many other subjects besides Trump 24/7. We who watch the cable news channels are part of the problem because we're not turning it off. I know I'm as guilty as the rest of you, so the finger points to me.

I have a very smart dog, by the way. My dog watches MSNBC all day long. I need to turn it off occasionally.
