I've been thinking about that ever since finding out it's on its way to New Jersey?

Who's in charge of that parade anyway?

15. Macy's and its parade partners have control over the official content. NYPD has control

over security. There is no way EITHER are going to allow unofficial balloons in the parade. If you can't understand the security issues that would arise, I don't know how to make it clearer.

The best they could do is seek permission to fly it nearby (NJ) perhaps, in sight of Manhattan.
