I have been thinking about Carter Page and fisa warrant issue. Every time you see him getting interviewed he seems so calm and confident about not being in any trouble concerning his relationship with the Kremlin. It has made me think that maybe the intelligence services had misinterpreted his actions, but then there is the fact that there is 400 pages of classified information in the request to support the warrant. This makes me rethink that the calmness is due to the training he has gotten from somewhere. And then there is Maria Butina. Perhaps she was some kind of a decoy.

(16,423 posts)I see a squirming weasel who's in way over his head and who's trying to talk his way out of it.
He had no idea what he got into. He was no more than a tool, hungry for power, money and fame. He never saw himself as a spy. To him, it was just business. And now he thinks that he can make this whole thing go away if he just keeps denying everything.

he doesn't act threatened. He acts completely unworried... However, I would say his mannerisms are anything but calm. He seems manic, disturbed, and way over-the-top.
