I'm grateful for TT's insights, but he often finishes flat. It's dry without the sly.

Ain't upset with the cartoonist, just find other cartoonists funnier. Perhaps the shift in interest in TT's work reflects his resting on his laurels and not putting in the craft of his Obama years. Plus a boatload if other cartoonists have come along to compete with him.

There were some great, super progressive cartoonists published in the Village Voice who were squeezed out by a change in management. Wish Jules Pfeiffer were still around, and that cartoonist who had a talking map of the United States....

...who hate the Democratic party. Which is why this was posted constantly.

During the primary, they all went off in a huff and did their absolute best to make sure that the Democratic nominee lost.

Insofar as why I don't repost Tom Tomorrow's cartoons now, it's largely because of this. His "humor" basically is based on lies.

Hell - and I hate to be having made to do this - even this cartoon is a lie. I oppose everything Paul Ryan stands for, but there are multiple times he's stood up to Trump. It doesn't matter though, because it's not the GOP leadership that's the problem, it's their overwhelmingly evil racist base, who will "primary" any Republican that dares to tell the truth.

Actually, in exactly the same way that our own extremists seem to celebrate when "mainstream" "establishment" Democrats lose, except in the GOP, the KKK/Nazi faction has taken over the concentration camp.
