Sports analogies to the 2016 Election

Basketball:
Team down by one point with time running out in the finals. The best player on the team that is behind goes for a lay up to win the game, but an opposing player fouls him bad, I mean he just punches him in the back of the head. No foul called and the game ends. A couple of foul shots would win the game, but the officials just look the other way. Later the League says it was a blatant foul and fines the player, no mater, the victory stands. Doesn't matter how they won.

Football:
Time running out in the Superbowl with team 3 points behind and on the 50. Receiver running all the way down the field, a good 5 yards from the nearest defender as the ball flies. He trips and falls on the one yard line, missing the catch. But wait, the Refs call pass interference and give them the ball on the goal line for an easy TD on the next play. No instant reply, nothing overturned. The team wins. Later the League admits it was a completely bogus call, but they still have the title. Doesn't matter how they won.

Baseball:
Game 7 World series. Team behind by one run. Bases loaded with two outs in the ninth and full count. Pitcher throws a perfect strike right passed he batter. Ump calls ball, player takes first and a run scores. Next batter hits a foul just passed first base, but ump calls a clearly foul ball in play, another run and the team wins. Latter the Commissioner admits the calls were atrocious, but the championship stands. Doesn't matter how they won.

It had become clear we have an illegitimate President who did not win. Those in power just don't wish to do a thing about it.

he can say it was a bogus call, but will anything be done to overturn it.
Judging by the GOP's actions, nothing will be done.
