Okay dammit. How do I link to things on here on an iPhone?

I can copy links but they don't paste. Sometimes a url will paste but often not. I can’t paste a tweet though I can easily do it elsewhere. It’s making me buggy.

Help?

3. To copy the link to this thread

I went to the latest threads page where I found it, and pressed on the link with my finger until the menu came up from the bottom, then I hit copy. Then I came here, and held my finger down until the menu popped in to allow me to paste. I don't try that fancy HTML conversion stuff, but this works for me.

For tweets, tap on the tweet itself, (make sure it isn't a photo). It should open the tweet in its own window. Then tap on the arrow in the upper right corner, the screen will darken a bit, then you have to swipe up to see the words 'embed tweet'. Tap on that and a blue background page will open, then the page auto-scrolls to the bottom. Scroll back to the blue part, where the link is in a white box, you must get a word to hilight with your finger, then select all. Next go where you want it and hold your finger down to get the 'paste' option to appear.

6. Thanks. I'm on a 10 and it doesn't work.

Says it copies but doesn’t paste. I can copy YouTube videos and urls but not tweets.

This 5 is going to be my last hand me down phone. I'm not going to pay good money for another iPhone.

4. I am not on an iPhone but if you go to the tweet on Twitter, pick the share

icon (three small circles in the shape of a triangle) and click on that you are given a few choices. Choose 'copy link to tweet' and click on that. Then move your curse to where you want to put it in the DU and it should give you the option to paste. That being said i don't always get the share icon to render on Twitter and I have no idea why.

5. That's exactly what I do. It won't paste.

Instead when I try to paste it says “Look up.” I can share via the Facebook button but not here.
