It's necessary to understand that the Republican Party has the most powerful propaganda machine in America.
Fox "news" is just the most visible part of it. Their pundits are everywhere, singing from the same hymn book. Even MSNBC and CNN have them on as "guests" and allow them to spew their poison into the camera.
The New York Times, The Washington Post and most other respectable newspapers have regular right-wing columnists who are free to voice their propaganda, and their sick world view, twice a week on the op-ed page. (They get away with it by sounding reasonable and low-keying the shit they're selling.)
And the wingnut online websites are a machine that runs 24/7.
This is the reason that Hilary, Nancy Pelosi, and now Elizabeth Warren are subjects of hatred. It's hate that was manufactured and peddled by the Republican hate machine. And it's been going on for decades. (They take the long view.)
They've also taken aim at congressman Adam Schiff, and anyone else who appears on TV too often to speak truth.
We must, MUST, find a way to counter their propaganda and stop them from framing our leaders and candidates. People believe what they're told over and over again. And we're telling them nothing while the GOP hate machine never stops grinding out poison.
They've taken advantage of today's technology while we Dems are still in the dark ages. We call them "knuckle-draggers. But their use of technology is killing us.
There's really no reason to "hate" Hilary, Nancy, Elizabeth, Adam, et. al. except that people are being told over and over again to hate them.

That, and gerrymandering, voter suppression, "lost" votes, and "scrubbing" voter roles.
If Republicans played by the rules, they'd be as extinct as dinosaurs.
