Former Trump aide: "No one is minding the store...."

Very scary ..... and troubling .....

"Amid mounting warnings about another Russian cyberattack on the 2018 midterm elections, President Trump’s former homeland security adviser said a recent staff shakeup ordered by national security adviser John Bolton has left the White House with nobody in charge of U.S. cyber policy and raised concerns about “who is minding the store.”

Bossert’s comments were his most unvarnished yet since new national security adviser John Bolton reorganized the White House national security staff and — with no explanation — gave the homeland security adviser his walking papers.

and he's just about gone through the more experienced arrogant ones, chewed them up, and spit them back out.

At this point, it's not so much their philosophy anymore but whether they would even want to work in there! I am sure that hundreds have been asked and they politely declined.

you would get rid of the cybersecurity chief and defund any money going to the state board of elections to prevent some sort of coordinated response by hired security experts following a national guideline for how to prevent the hacking.

Nobody would ever do that, right?

Oh wait...

They're basically sending a signal to Putin that Trump wants more hacking to swing the midterms to Republicans. In exchange, Trump will give them Alaska or something like that.

ridiculing Secretary of State Seward for the purchase, but they ratified the treaty anyway. They changed their minds after they found gold in the Klondike. Maybe this is Russia's revenge.

lots of warnings concerning the security of our votes. Does anyone really think the GOPee wants to solve the problem? The answer is HELL NO!!! They will sit on their hands and allow our country to be conquered by an adversarial foreign power without one shot being fired. That is, as long as they are allowed to keep mountains of cash with which to sleep upon.
