The man who destroyed President Trumps Walk of Fame star with a pickax on Wednesday morning is reportedly being bailed out by another man who destroyed the star in 2016.
James Otis, heir to the Otis Elevator Company, told TMZ that he is preparing to pay $20,000 to bail out 24-year-old Austin Clay the latest vandal to demolish Trumps star.
Otis dressed in construction-worker gear and used a sledgehammer and pickax to hack away Trumps name on Oct. 26, 2016.
He pleaded no contest in 2017 and agreed to pay $4,400 for the damage and perform 20 days of community labor.
Clay reportedly turned himself in to police on Wednesday for his act of sabotage.

Rather than another human being.
I hope they just cover the hole over and not put the star back.

(15,682 posts)12. It's been noted that Republicans hurt people
while Democrats damage property. We're talking about extremists here.
And so it appears that still holds true. Even when it's been reported that a Democrat has attacked a Republican it usually turns out to be a republican hoax. Remember backwards-B lady?
