He seems intelligent, well-informed and credible to me.
Is there any reason whatsoever to believe otherwise? I haven't found anything that would discredit him.
EDIT TO ADD:
I ask because he's one of the few mainstream voices to have discussed the role of Kosntantin Rykov and his post-election Facebook confession about running a social media campaign from Russia to get Donald Trump elected (and using Cambridge Anayltica and Wikileaks in the process). In a podcast yesterday, Nance said he was aware of Rykov's confession when he first made it in November 2016. If that's the case, then it suggests the intel community was well onto Rykov back then, and might suggest that Rykov should be taken more seriously in what he claimed to have done.

(16,254 posts)"facts" up or is well-versed and knowledgeable.
I've never heard him give a questionable statement nor hesitate with a reply. He is scary in his projections, but then we all know we aren't going to stay safe forever. Too many countries resent our wealth and power.
He does have the background and apparently is privy to enough information to be well informed.
Many commentators' voices go in one ear and out the other, but not Nance. I tend to pay attention to what he has to say. Some days, I wish he was wrong.

(32,073 posts)Like right now. For the past few weeks, his interviews on Stephanie Miller's show have been hair-on-fire. The same with the one he did on Bob Cesca's podcast last week. Malcolm hasn't been wrong yet Those not familiar with him should read his book, "The Plot to Hack Amercia." And, realize that it came out BEFORE the election.

(16,884 posts)I do the exact same - stop and even turn up the volume.
I always feel like finally - lets hear Malcolms take on this crazy shit happening...
Read his last book and I must say, he has called it all correctly....

(6,454 posts)I really like him but it bothers me that he seems to flaunt wearing the Flag lapel pin.

(41,930 posts)I think its a mistake to let the GOP claim the flag. Nance is quite the patriot, in all the best ways.

(32,073 posts)The same pin Barack Obama and most, if not all Democratic senators and representatives wear. Does that bother you, as well?

(4,459 posts)... a problem for Republicans because for many of them its fake. I think its fine when it appears to be genuine respect for and love of country.

(11,722 posts)I am not sure if he still associates with the party because of their complicity in the whole hacking and Russian cyber attacks, but he had been a Republican. One thing that seems clear is that Nance is an American first.

All of his theories and assertions are right in there, for our consideration.
I like his passion and I trust his experience and expertise.

The fact that even the cretins over in Freeperville don't really lambaste him as one might expect they would speaks volumes.

(20,998 posts)... it will have Nance's picture. Seriously, Nance called this Russia bullshit at least a year before it erupted. I *IMPLICITLY* trust Malcolm Nance and would recommend that stance to anyone.

(5,810 posts)I sit up and take notice. He knows his stuff and then some! If you read his latest book, you will see a well researched dissertation on what has happened and continues to this day. If Malcolm has his hair on fire, better call the fire department and start the bucket brigade. Like others have said, lets hope he is one of many thoughtful experts who know the spy business stem to stern!

(20,567 posts)He knew what was happening before anyone else was picking up on it, and even wrote a book about it. He knows how intel and politics works. I always have respect for those who stick their neck out because the other option is so much easier.

(21,040 posts)I listen to him on Stephanie Miller, he used to sound confident we would stop Twitler before he destroyed our country, now he is sounding out the alarm saying game over if the Democratic Party doesnt take back at least one house.
