I think that before Labor Day DT45 will have kicked in issue 25 and we will have an acting POTUS.

Bush didn't resign over war crimes. Trump isn't going to do so over this w/ a weak house willing to discredit the entire DoJ/FBI to protect him. Resigning also opens him up to a lot of legal scrutiny over financial dealings w/ little argument that he should be immune to them while president.

And barring some major turn in his numbers, I don't see Pence and his cabinet making a play.
