The world revolved around him.
Even as a child, he discovered that if he yelled and screamed and rebelled against all authority figures, he could usually get his way.
He grew up in a 23-room house in Queens and was driven to a private school by a chauffeur.
Tim O'Brien, who had written a book about Trump, once wrote that it was his family’s wealth which allowed him “to pursue his appetites and really do whatever he wanted to do for most of his life with very few restraints.”
He was born into privilege.
At one time, he was sent by his parents to a military school.
He wanted to be successful like his father, Fred Trump.
But, also, he wanted to be a playboy and indulge in the bacchanalian world.
Before he had gotten into the casino business, he had met several unsavory characters.
He thought big. After all, he was a narcississt.
Eventually, after several bankruptcies, he had difficulty borrowing money from American banks. So began his foreign interest in getting credit so he could build big hotels with his name on them.
Somewhere he met Paul Manafort?
He went to Moscow for a beauty contest in 2013. That seems to be the year he solidified his Russian contacts.
He learned about money-laundering.
He was groomed by the Russians.
With a most-sophisticated propaganda blitzkrieg, Trump became President of the United States.
He was used to being the Boss. He was not used to being President.
The lies and deception had become a part of his life.
How much more could he evolve?

He may have learned about money-laundering long before his trip to Russia?
He once sold one of his properties in Florida to a Russian oligarch for about double the price, which netted him about $50 million. He saw how easy it was to move millions of dollars of drug money, etc, thru the American banking system.
