Arrived back in Washington last night from a very emotional reopening of a major U.S. Steel plant in Granite City, Illinois, only to be greeted with the ridiculous news that the highly conflicted Robert Mueller and his gang of 13 Angry Democrats obviously cannot find Collusion...
4:26 AM - 27 Jul 2018
....,the only Collusion with Russia was with the Democrats, so now they are looking at my Tweets (along with 53 million other people) - the rigged Witch Hunt continues! How stupid and unfair to our Country....And so the Fake News doesnt waste my time with dumb questions, NO,....
4:38 AM - 27 Jul 2018
.....I did NOT know of the meeting with my son, Don jr. Sounds to me like someone is trying to make up stories in order to get himself out of an unrelated jam (Taxi cabs maybe?). He even retained Bill and Crooked Hillarys lawyer. Gee, I wonder if they helped him make the choice!

Let's break it down for a moment.
He starts out the tweet by claiming that "the highly conflicted Robert Mueller and his gang of 13 Angry Democrats" are unfairly putting him through the ringer by scouring his tweets for evidence of incriminating statements of collusion and obstruction of justice.
By the time he finishes the tweet--30 minutes later--he's making potentially incriminating statements of collusion and obstruction of justice.
Someone should put that tweet series in the Museum of Modern Ironic Art. It's that beautiful.

(8,200 posts)The kids that I know are receiving a good education under the present system that demands that teachers have detailed lesson plans for the entire year and the kids are tested on their grasp of the material. I am can attest that their education is far superior to what I was provided. I didn't even begin to tackle their curriculum until I was in college. It has enabled kids to take advance college level courses while still in high school. Many who enter college are so well prepared that they are advanced to sophomore and even junior level courses. I think that Trump demonstrates a totally inferior grasp of language and basic reasoning. Perhaps that is the reason for his high approval among those with a high school and lower level education.

(8,200 posts)I hold advance degrees in engineering and chemistry and I have volunteered at our both our junior and senior high schools to assist where ever I can. I can assure people that as far as my experience enables me, that the young people as much better prepared than previous generations. There grasp of the problem and proposed solutions are commendable. I have assisted in the review of exam papers with students. I do not grade them, but only provide assistance in helping identify problem areas and suggestions to the student. The maturity of the students, without exception, was positive and they were receptive to reviewing the material in order to correct any misconception or comprehension of the material. What is most striking is the enthusiasm for learning. My deepest desire is that every kid has the opportunity to maximize their potential.

(7,528 posts)Although it might be a bit suspicious how he specifies "my son, Don jr."
Perhaps the implication is "do what you want with Eric"...
Also, how come Bill Clinton has not gotten a designated diminutive nickname? Hm.

(22,977 posts)you know, the dutiful son trying to make amends and further fooking things up. The opening sentence looked odd, for him.

(8,998 posts)What a genius to give them his "NO" response in a tweet.
That will save so much bandwidth.
And the all caps really seal his honesty.
NOT.

(9,426 posts)will have his work cut out for him (or her) cleaning up after this "stable genius" Our reputation is in the dumpster. I think the gop realizes this, so will let a democratic candidate win. No republican is up to the job of cleaning up such a total mess. If we can get Russia to stay out of it, we stand a slight chance of getting this country back. Then the gop will work to elect Princess Ivanka, since she is in training for the WH job. She has given up her fashion business, left all those slave laborers in the lurch in China, Bangladesh and other countries, so she is READY for bigger things. Since she is daddy's girl, she will be easy to manipulate. Not too smart.

Excuse me, but I need to ROFL. Thanks for the humor!
Seriously, the goopers are quite happy with things as they are right now. We don't see them making any significant efforts to curb the malAdministration's efforts to bungle up every part of the federal government, now do we? No, they're getting just what they want - as the Idiot Savant and his cabinet clowns toil to drown the efforts of every federal agency to provide benefits and positive actions for the 99%. The LAST thing the goopers want is to have their mission to f* up the federal government derailed by a Dem administration.
To them, the fact that our reputation is in the dumpster is just a side consequence of the politics of what they're doing to the federal gov't. No big deal. The mission must continue!
...and that's why I fear that the goops will use every trick in the book for the upcoming election to maintain control of both houses of Congress. Despite the gloomy polls (for them), they plan to win. And I won't be the least bit surprised if they do. Devastated, yes, but not surprised.

(9,426 posts)Many of THEM will be prosecuted for taking money from Russia. McConnell KNEW the fix was in to get tRump into the WH. They have already accomplished most of their agenda, so what do they care? The mess already created in this short time is BIGLY disasterous. Just what the gop and Vlad want.

If it's "ridiculous news" that they "cannot find collusion", that means that it's believable news that they CAN find collusion!
Just hang up the Twitter account, Donny, before you find yourself turning the key to the lock on your cell.

(10,252 posts)but that he's lazy and without intellectual curiosity. All his life, everything has been given to him. Waited on hand and foot. Hired people to fulfill his whims, manage his business, while he chased after sex and notoriety. Too lazy to read and study about the constitution, how gov works, geography, ecology, other cultures.
When you first heard about global warming and climate change, didn't you want to read and learn more about it? Well he's not interested, because he'd rather pursue his creature comforts.

(41,960 posts)He cant hold a thought for thirty seconds or remember what he was thinking thirty seconds before. Hes just an ego driven, rage fueled, not very smart man with some serious deficits in the ability to retain information that he tries to hide with a blowhard approach. Id call him a sociopath but hes not that well organized. Hes the last person who should be in power. The fact that the GOP is perpetuating him to rob us is disgusting.
