It's hard to get a grasp on what is going on here.
If he knew that Donald Jr. told Donald Sr. about the meeting, did he tell that to Congress? It doesn't seem like he did.
Do we still think Cohen lied about visiting Prague and about paying Stormy Daniels out of his own pocket (and not being reimbursed for it)?
If he is now realizing the error of his past ways, why wouldn't he just agree to cooperate with Mueller and share everything with him?
Everyone in Trump-world seems to lie so easily (including Cohen, and especially Trump himself) that it's hard to sort out the truth.

The truth is not hard to figure out if it comes with mountains of evidence. We just aren't privy to all of it.

(6,059 posts)It's reasonable to believe that Cohen can't find a lying strategy that has any hope of success.

(56,895 posts)He's having a "what have I done?" experience. He's been helping the Japanese build a bridge that will enable them to take and mistreat more prisoners and extend the war. He got so wrapped in up in seeing the trees (his engineering expertise) that he overlooked the forest (the war).
Cohen is not going to live forever. What will his legacy be?

(37,428 posts)I'm not much interested in anything he says. The proof will either be in his documents and tapes, or it won't be credible.
The good thing is that we mostly just need him to answer the question: "Is this your signature?"

Good God.

Cohen in a CNN appearance disclosed that he could not vote in the primary because he was not registered as a Republican.

(1,237 posts)You may want to edit your post with a link to the interview and give Guiliani credit for the quote.

(1,237 posts)I thought this was part of the transcript from Guiliani's attempt on CNN to discredit another witness.

(58,724 posts)That Giuliani appearance was pathetic - I caught some of the highlights. Cuomo made the great point of how prosecutors always have people who have lied in the past put on the stand against other criminals - and, of course, not only does Rudy know that, but he himself has done it!
What a joke he is.

Years and years of being his right hand lawyer, fixer. Cohen only had one and a half other clients, and had 14 old blackberries worth of data generated from his lawyering.
He knows where all dRump org's bodies are buried.
