very appropriate as Putin is at war with us to reestablish that hegemony. It was banished because of what it meant to the people, rather than its actually words, and Putin brought it back. I have to admit the music makes a magnificent anthem (singable also), and the lyrics are rather reminiscent of America the Beautiful.

My husband and I lived in West Hollywood in the early 1970s. I was disgusted to learn there was a Trump star in Hollywood at all. Hollywood Blvd had declined severely when we were there, but it did evoke sentimental echoes of the Klieg lights heralding premiers that I saw as a child. I didn't realize then that there was whole other level, of new degradation, ahead.

Those guys don’t. But I didn’t care. Hats off to them.
