of Rachel taking so many Fridays off.....I understand it is summer and she likes to go fishing....but she makes a ton of money and lets her fans down. Most people in this country who make a hell of a lot less than she does do not have the luxury of taking a Friday off when they feel like it.

and there were many times she was supposed to be off but still did the show.

and her show would not be as good if she was overworked and not as alert.

If it's Friday, chances are there is a substitute host for him.

It’s a lot harder than it looks. The mental stress is unimaginable, and I was just working in local radio. I don’t begrudge her taking selected Friday’s, especially when I know it will make her overall performance better.

We can't expect them to not take 2 weeks every year. At a normal company, after this long, she'd be eligible for at least 3 - 4 weeks! It's okay.

Her intensity and productivity more than make up for the occasional break.

Ari is a great choice. Better than the rest of the alternatives IMO- even better than Joy for this time slot.

Rachel is a national treasure. Whatever she needs, she gets, whether contractual or not IMO.

for tonight I will watch Cuomo on CNN ...he also has a great program followed by Don Lemon whose program is always exceptional......guess MSNBC lost an evening viewer.
