Its been a long week and an even longer 18 months since dotard took office. It was right around this time of year that the Pud-in-Chief was planning on doing with the data he was given by Russia. But now, as all things go with the whiney baby man, things tend to fall apart. Several of his former staff and underlings who consistently got treated like door mats are now state witness negotiating their time served in exchange for the truth. And what should be his closest most valuable asset, his very own consigliere, is willing to give up the goods to Mueller. As his former campaign manager rots in solitary in Alexendria Federal Prison with no hopes of getting out while he awaits a trial that is surely to send him to Prison for the rest of his days, the media and the rest of the country, including desperate trump boot lickers, are slowly waking up to the reality that dotard would sell them out in a heartbeat for his own benefit. Just ask the employees of Harley Davidson or the soybean farmers (is $12b really gonna cover the nut of long term permanent shrinkage of their market?). Yes my friends, breath deep of the smells of desperation waft out of DC as the GOP begins to realize how truly fucked they are and what will happen after November when the bluenami sweeps the nation and the prospects of a Democratic Speaker of the House becoming President makes a GOP dominated lame duck House force an impeachment vote against their very own President just so they can hand it over to a Republican before the Democratic House is seated. Thats right folks, the Repubs will turn on Trump out of self preservation. You heard it here first.
Good night. And good luck.

(51,550 posts)One in which Dems would release all the embarrassing colusion evidence to the public?
I don't see it.
The GOP would just have a come to Jesus meeting with Trump, tell him they have the votes to impeach, and ask him to resign, like they did with Nixon.
Trump would thendeclare victory, mission accomplished as to all his goals, and say he was quitting since he was tired of being a distraction and he missed being a businessman. Kinda like Palin's resignation announcement. Then we would have President Pence until 2020. I guess that's better than having Trump until 2020. Or do the Dems start impeachment of Pence and his VP, making the Dem Speaker President?
