MI-11: Haley Stevens(?) seen as best Democrat to swing seat form red to blue

There are five Democrats on the ballot, but most Michigan observers believe the race will come down to Obama Auto Task Force chief of staff Haley Stevens and tech entrepreneur Suneel Gupta, a former Groupon executive the brother of CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta. Former state House Minority Leader Tim Greimel, who heavy labor backing including the UAW and AFL-CIO, is also regarded as a top contender.

Many Democrats believe Stevens, a 33-year-old woman without a voting record, would be their best general election candidate. But she's struggled to break out because the presence of another female candidate, former Obama DHS official Fayrouz Saad, has kept EMILY's List on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Gupta has loaned his campaign $150,000 and entered July with $799,000 to Stevens's $340,000.
