SO they don't feel that they have been hustled. Of course they will be hurt and of course Trump cares nothing about them, but they are in it to preserve White Supremacy not for any economic stability. They think it will even out in the wash when the people of color and liberals are dispossessed of their belongings and it is turned over to them.

6. Exactly. They vote *for* their (perceived) cultural/social interests.

And then blame Democrats and people of color for economic woes.

If we were to magically wake up in a world free of racism, the Republican Party would cease to be viable.

13. Agreed. White grievance has been their only salient issue in the modern era.

Their economic ideas work only for the richest people (who happen to be predominantly White) so they have had to latch on to cultural issues to remain relevant. Plus they cheat to remain in power.

From what I see./ hear/read, most Spanky voters haven't flipped yet. I hope I'm wrong! I keep wondering how tight do the screws have to get? It's hard to get people to change their first thoughts about something, and that's why I don't think it'll get to a 2020 vote; I think Spanky will be outed by his treason & colludin' first.

But they didn't get it, I suppose because they were too young or too ignorant.

....that these people who supported Trump thinking he would be looking out for their best interests and knew best, couldn't have been more wrong and were not just duped and conned, they were used and as you said "hustled".

I think its important for us to remember these are fellow Americans for whom many of these people can still wake up and see what was done and to turn around and make sure that they do not vote or support Trump and the lying GOP that duped them.
