The Jeopardy Facebook page has elicited several idiotic comments about "Jeopardy is coddling libtards! Keep politics out of it!"
These people will feel right at home during Kids Week.
I will never understand the ire that Nancy Pelosi evokes. OK, well, I do: She is a female politician who has successfully raised money, elected candidates, and been a force in Washington. She is hated for the same reasons Hillary Clinton is hated: She is a powerful, historic woman. I barf when Democratic candidates seem embarrassed of her too. Like, what the fuck?

(89,239 posts)this is the thing with Trump supporters. they felt oppressed just because there was a black president and things like the first lady presenting an award even without any political message was something that filled them with anger.
things like this shows how fucked up bad they are.

Actually, just innocuous material: How many members are in Congress, the year that Congress first declared war on a country, and so on. The only thing that even came close to being political was something along the lines of, "I spoke for almost eight hours on the floor of the House in support of this program that protects the Dreamers from being deported."
So you can see why their ire is totally rational.

I recall the emails back and forth between two Christie employees involved in the lane closings at the GW bridge. It went something like this...I feel bad for the kids...dont worry, they are the kids of Democrats...yeah, youre right.

(19,148 posts)I mean we REALLY hate Donald Trump. The mere mention of his name evokes waves of nausea and levels of loathing we've never even neared before for any Republican. He's not a woman. He's a detestable human being, but not a woman, so I don't know if it's totally misogynistic on their part, although as a rule Republicans are misogynistic.
What I'm trying to say is, let's not be hypocritical about this. We're capable of just as much hate as the Republicans. Of course Trump really deserves it!
Let the flames begin.

Romney was actually pretty good in his delivery. It was the Top Ten Surprising Things About Mitt Romney. The only one I remember now was Romney saying, "I have absolutely no idea where my birth certificate is."
