I agree with Voltaire. I think you are reading too much into the title. nt Blue_true Jul 2018 #14
I don't see how that's "normalizing" anything. The Velveteen Ocelot Jul 2018 #9
OK I concede that. Just wish the headline indicated more than "a little stronger". triron Jul 2018 #15

"The Case for a Trump-Russia Conspiracy Just Got a Little Stronger." How is that normalizing? They're pointing out, quite correctly, that the evidence against Trump is piling up. Keep in mind that in order to establish that Trump committed any crime Mueller has to have evidence proving all elements of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt. Cohen's claim so far has not yet been substantiated. If there were to be a trial the prosecutor would need some evidence that Cohen, a dodgy character in his own right, was telling the truth. The headline and the article state correctly that the case is getting stronger. But it still remains to be proved according to legal standards.

If the Atlantic actually wanted to "normalize" the situation they wouldn't have commented on it at all.

And the subtitle is not too damning either.
I agree the article body itself is very good.
I hadn't read it yet when I posted --Just got up out of bed.
