Where should we put our money in 2018?

Hubby and I were talking about where to put our money for the 2018 elections. We realized that neither of us had vivid ideas about candidates to support. I must have donated to the Nevada lady, because I keep getting desperate eloquent e-mails. He likes Sherrod Brown but is puzzled that we have heard little about him.

For one thing, I'll donate to the NDRC (National Democratic Redistricting Committee) as they work to get Democrats elected to state legislatures where gerrymandering is a big issue.

But what else? The DCCC? Let the bigwigs decide?

Where are you all giving your money?

I did that in the special elections. It's much more satisfying that way. I like to see the ads and know I gave X amount to that candidate instead of guessing the DCCC's apportioning scheme.

Tim Kaine and Leslie Cockburn (VA-05). I'm sending each money monthly automatically. I tell this to the DCCC each and every time they call.

NC Supreme Court and General Assembly. I know these races and candidates and they are really important.

... I post something about the NDRC. It's just the best action going, but I don't think their PR is working very well. Rachel did a thing about them. And Obama did a video that I posted. I'm going to post it again soon. But it's really the way to make change. THANKS!!!!!!
